From the dawn of civilization, humanity has always sought
balance. Balance in nature for stable harvests; balance in the body to maintain
health; balance in the mind for peace; balance in the family to preserve
happiness; balance in society to ensure order and sustainable development. It
can be said that the desire for a state of balance is one of the oldest and
most universal aspirations of humanity.
However, the more developed we become, the more we recognize
a paradox. The more we strive to create balance through external measures, the
more the system often becomes imbalanced. An economy that is continuously
regulated can still fall into crisis. An organization with a tightly controlled
apparatus can still generate conflicts. A person who tries to control all their
emotions is more likely to fall into a state of tension. Solutions aimed at
restoring balance sometimes only create a temporary stable state, while the
root causes of the imbalance remain intact.
This shows that balance is not simply the result of
adjusting surface phenomena. Every system has underlying laws that determine
the state of the entire structure. When that foundation has not been correctly
identified, every effort at balancing is like continuously editing the
manifestations without touching the root cause.
According to the Fulcrum Law, that fundamental cause is
precisely the Fulcrum of the system. The Fulcrum not only determines the
ability to form, operate, evolve, or self-organize of a system, but also
determines the equilibrium state of the system itself. When the Fulcrum is
correctly established, opposing forces no longer neutralize each other but
self-harmonize; energy flows no longer conflict but support each other; arising
deviations are absorbed and self-corrected by the system. The state of balance
therefore does not need to be forcibly created but emerges as a natural
consequence.
This is also the meeting point between the Fulcrum Law, the
Neutral Thought of Hong Bang Dich, and the mission of Maitreya Buddha. All
three point to a common principle: sustainability is not built on maintaining
one pole stronger than the other, but is formed when the system returns to its
correct Neutral Fulcrum. When the Fulcrum is correct, balance will
appear naturally; when the Fulcrum is off, imbalance will be the inevitable
result.
From that awareness, the Equilibrium Theorem is stated as a
logical consequence of the entire theoretical system of the Fulcrum Law.
II. THE CONCEPT OF BALANCE IN A NEUTRAL SYSTEM.
"Balance" is one of the concepts widely used in
almost all fields of science and life. In physics, it is the state where forces
neutralize each other. In biology, it is the ability to maintain the body's
internal stable environment. In economics, it is the harmony between supply and
demand. In sociology, it is the stable state of social relationships. In
Eastern philosophy, it is the harmonization between opposing aspects to achieve
Neutrality.
Although expressed in many different forms, these approaches
all reflect a common feature: balance is the state in which the system has the
ability to maintain its stability in the face of fluctuations from within and
without.
However, not every stable state is balance in the sense of
the Fulcrum Law. A system can be temporarily stable thanks to coercive
pressure, thanks to external supplementary resources, or thanks to continuous
control. Those states only exist as long as the maintaining force remains. When
the coercive force disappears, the system quickly returns to an imbalanced
state.
In contrast, a system with the correct Fulcrum does not need
to consume most of its resources to maintain stability. Whenever a deviation
arises, the system's own structure will create feedback mechanisms,
self-adjust, and self-recover, bringing the entire system back to the Neutral
state. Balance in this case is not a motionless state, but a continuous
movement process around its own Fulcrum.
Therefore, the Fulcrum Law distinguishes four basic forms of
balance:
1.
Coerced Balance. This is the stable state
maintained primarily by external forces. The system only maintains balance as
long as there is continuous control or intervention. This is a form of balance
with high maintenance costs and low sustainability.
2.
Temporary Balance. This is the stable
state formed due to favorable conditions in a certain period. When the
environment changes, the system quickly loses stability because it lacks the
ability to self-adjust from within.
3.
Dynamic Balance. This is the state in
which the system is always in motion, always exhibiting local oscillations and
deviations, but internal feedback mechanisms continuously harmonize those
deviations, helping the entire system maintain long-term stability. This is the
common state of living systems and complex systems.
4.
Natural Balance. This is the highest
state of a Neutral System. When the Fulcrum is correctly established, every
component of the system naturally finds its position and role. Opposing forces
no longer antagonize but become complementary elements to each other. Energy flows
smoothly, information is fed back accurately, and the system self-adjusts
whenever deviations arise without external coercion.
In this state, balance is no longer a goal to be achieved,
but becomes a natural attribute of the system's very structure.
From the perspective of the Fulcrum Law, only natural
balance is the truly sustainable equilibrium state. The other three forms of
balance merely reflect different levels of stability in the process of the
system moving toward or away from its Fulcrum.
This awareness leads to an important conclusion: to build a
balanced system, what needs to be changed first is not the external phenomena,
but the Fulcrum itself that governs the entire system. When the Fulcrum is
correctly placed, balance will appear as an inevitable consequence of the
structure rather than the result of coercion.
A system with the correct Fulcrum will naturally form a
state of dynamic balance and natural balance without external coercion. Every
prolonged imbalance reflects the deviation, weakening, or displacement of the
Fulcrum in the system.
III. THE EQUILIBRIUM THEOREM.
From the above analyses, the Fulcrum Law leads to the
Equilibrium Theorem as follows:
Equilibrium Theorem. A system with the correct
Fulcrum will naturally establish and maintain a state of dynamic balance
through internal feedback and self-adjustment mechanisms. Conversely, every
prolonged state of imbalance reflects the deviation, weakening, or displacement
of the Fulcrum within the system.
This theorem affirms that balance is not a state created by
coercion, nor the result of continuously controlling external phenomena.
Balance is the direct consequence of the internal structure of the system, in
which the Fulcrum plays the decisive role.
When the Fulcrum is correctly established, opposing forces
will self-harmonize, energy flows will self-distribute rationally, feedback
information will be received and processed effectively, helping the system
continuously correct arising deviations in the course of motion. As a result,
the system does not need to maintain a motionless state but still preserves
long-term stability under constantly changing conditions.
Conversely, if the Fulcrum is deviated, weakened, or
replaced by an unsuitable Fulcrum, the entire self-adjustment mechanism will
gradually lose effectiveness. At that point, local imbalances will accumulate
into system-wide imbalance. Every external adjustment effort can only slow down
or conceal the manifestations of crisis, but cannot restore stability
sustainably if the Fulcrum has not been restored.
Therefore, the Equilibrium Theorem not only explains why
systems achieve long-term stability, but also points out a fundamental
principle in building, managing, and restoring all systems: to restore balance,
one must first restore the correct Fulcrum.
IV. PROOF OF THE EQUILIBRIUM THEOREM.
The Equilibrium Theorem can be proven from the operational
structure of a Neutral System itself.
In every system, the Fulcrum is not only the place that
receives external forces but also the center that organizes the entire
structure. Every component of the system determines its position, function, and
relationships through that Fulcrum. Therefore, the equilibrium state of the
system is not determined by the strength of each individual component but by
the correctness of the Fulcrum governing the entire system.
When the Fulcrum is correctly established, the entire system
will form a natural operational chain:
Correct Fulcrum ↓ Forces are distributed in the right
positions and functions. ↓ Information is transmitted and fed back accurately.
↓ Energy flows smoothly throughout the system. ↓ Deviations are detected,
absorbed, and self-corrected. ↓ The system maintains dynamic balance. ↓ The
system develops stably, sustainably, and with the ability to evolve.
The above causal chain shows that balance is not the
starting point of the system but the final result of a correctly organized
process right from the Fulcrum. Each link in the chain is the inevitable
consequence of the previous link. When the Fulcrum is correct, the entire
operational mechanism of the system will naturally form according to a logical
order, helping the system maintain stability even when the environment is
constantly changing.
Conversely, if the Fulcrum is deviated, that causal chain
will reverse:
Deviated Fulcrum ↓ Forces are misdistributed or imbalanced ↓
Information is distorted or feedback is delayed ↓ Energy is consumed by
internal conflicts ↓ Deviations are not self-corrected but increasingly
accumulate ↓ The system falls into prolonged imbalance ↓ Crisis, decline, or
collapse becomes the inevitable result.
What is noteworthy is that in the early stages of this
process, the manifestations of imbalance are often very small and difficult to
recognize. The system can still operate normally thanks to reserve resources or
external interventions. However, if the Fulcrum is not adjusted, those small
deviations will continue to accumulate, exceed the system's self-adjustment
capacity, and ultimately lead to large, sudden changes.
Therefore, the root cause of crises does not lie in the
final manifestations, but in the deviation that appeared from the Fulcrum right
when the causal chain began to form.
From this, an important principle of the Fulcrum Law can be
drawn: To maintain long-term balance, one should not strengthen control over
the system's manifestations, but must ensure that the Fulcrum is always
correct, strong enough, and Neutral enough for the entire self-adjustment
mechanism to operate naturally.
In previous articles, we have proven: • The Fulcrum
determines formation. • The Fulcrum determines stability. • The Fulcrum
determines predictability. • The Fulcrum determines evolutionary ability. • The
Fulcrum determines self-organization ability.
By Article 7, we have unintentionally connected all those
theorems into a single logical chain. You will realize that they are not
separate theorems, but different aspects of the same foundational principle.
V. THE THREE FULCRUMS PRINCIPLE AND THE BALANCE MECHANISM
OF THE SYSTEM.
The Equilibrium Theorem is not only valid for a single
Fulcrum but can also be extended to the entire structure of the system.
According to the Three Fulcrums Principle presented in
previous studies, every Neutral System that wants to exist and develop
sustainably must be supported by three Fulcrums that have organic relationships
with each other. These three Fulcrums do not exist as three independent power
centers, nor do they compete to dominate the system, but together perform
different functions within a unified whole.
Each Fulcrum has its own role, but the value of each Fulcrum
is fully realized only when the other two Fulcrums also operate correctly in
their functions. This linkage creates the self-adjustment and self-balancing
ability of the entire system.
One can imagine the Three Fulcrums as the three legs of a
tripod. When all three are solid and harmoniously arranged, the system will
achieve a stable state with the lowest energy consumption. If one Fulcrum
weakens, the entire load will shift onto the other two. If one Fulcrum is
displaced from its position, the entire structure will lose balance. At that
point, even if the other two Fulcrums remain strong, it will be difficult to
maintain long-term stability.
What is more important is that the balance of the Three
Fulcrums is not equality in strength, power, or scale, but harmony in function
and correct coordination with the position of each Fulcrum in the system. Each
Fulcrum has an irreplaceable role, but also cannot exist separately from the
other two.
From the perspective of the Fulcrum Law, the balance
mechanism of a system is not formed by eliminating differences, but by
correctly organizing those differences around a Neutral state. It is the
correctly organized differences that create the ability to complement each
other, create combined strength, and create the stability of the entire system.
Therefore, the Three Fulcrums Principle can be seen as a
specific manifestation of the Equilibrium Theorem in complex systems. A system
only achieves sustainable balance when all three Fulcrums operate correctly in
their functions, support each other, and together direct toward a common
Neutral Fulcrum of the entire system.
This is also why every effort to strengthen a single Fulcrum
while neglecting the harmony of the other two only creates partial stability.
Sustainable balance only appears when the entire structure is organized as a
unified whole, in which each Fulcrum both maintains its own role and
contributes to maintaining the Neutrality of the entire system.
The Three Fulcrums are not only a structural model, but also
the minimum mathematical condition for stability. One Fulcrum determines a
center. Two Fulcrums create an axis. Only from three Fulcrums onward can a
stable plane be established in space.
VI. THE EQUILIBRIUM THEOREM FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF HỒNG
BÀNG DỊCH.
If the Fulcrum Law approaches balance from the perspective
of system structure, then Hồng Bàng Dịch approaches the same phenomenon from
the perspective of the laws of motion of the universe. Although starting from
different reference systems, both meet at a foundational principle: Neutrality
is the source of balance, and balance is the condition for all life to exist
and develop sustainably.
According to Hồng Bàng Dịch, the universe does not move in a
straight line but always oscillates around the Neutral state. All things and
phenomena constantly change through the interaction between opposing aspects.
That motion does not aim to create the absolute dominance of one pole, but
directs toward maintaining the harmony of the entire system.
Therefore, imbalance is not a permanently existing state.
When a development trend exceeds the Neutral limit, the internal laws of the
system will create counter-forces to bring the system back to a new balanced
state. That is not negation or punishment, but the self-adjustment mechanism of
nature to ensure the long-term stability of the universe.
The Fulcrum Law interprets that mechanism in a different
language. When the Fulcrum is correctly established, opposing forces no longer
neutralize each other but transform into complementary elements. Oscillations
still always exist, but are absorbed through the system's feedback and
self-adjustment mechanisms. It is that continuous motion process that creates
the state of dynamic balance presented in the Equilibrium Theorem.
It can be seen that Neutrality in Hồng Bàng Dịch is not a
motionless state or passive compromise. Neutrality is the ability to keep the
entire system always moving within a stable limit, so that every change becomes
a driving force for development rather than the cause of collapse.
At that level, the Fulcrum is the condition for the
Neutrality principle to be realized in a specific system. When the Fulcrum is
correct, the system naturally moves toward Neutrality; when the Fulcrum is off,
the system increasingly moves away from Neutrality and gradually loses its
self-balancing ability.
Therefore, the Equilibrium Theorem is not only a conclusion
of the Fulcrum Law but also a modern interpretation of the Neutrality principle
of Hồng Bàng Dịch. Two different approaches have met at the same conclusion:
sustainable balance is not created by coercion, but is formed when the system's
structure conforms to the natural laws of motion of the universe. The Fulcrum
Law and Hồng Bàng Dịch, although formed from different reference systems, meet
at a universal principle of Neutrality and Balance. The Fulcrum is not only the
place that creates force. The Fulcrum is also the place that absorbs and
transforms antagonistic forces into the Neutral state.
In fact, when standing next to each other, they form a very
natural chain of thought: • Two reference systems meet at Neutrality. •
Neutrality is realized through the Fulcrum. • The deepest role of the Fulcrum
is to transform antagonism into balance.
VII. THE EQUILIBRIUM THEOREM FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF
MAITREYA BUDDHA’S MISSION.
If Hồng Bàng Dịch helps explain the Equilibrium Theorem from
the laws of motion of the universe, then the Mission of Maitreya Buddha
illuminates that theorem from the perspective of humanity and the development
of civilization.
According to the spirit of Maitreya Buddha’s Mission, the
root of crises in personal life, family, and society does not lie only in
external manifestations, but begins with the deviation of the Fulcrum. When
humans lose their Neutral Fulcrum, their inherent values are gradually replaced
by extremism, bias, or antagonism. Imbalance therefore is no longer a localized
phenomenon but spreads to all relationships and social structures.
From that perspective, the mission of Maitreya Buddha is not
to create a new order through power or coercion, but to open the way for each
person to rediscover their own correct Fulcrum. When the Fulcrum is restored,
people will gradually regain the ability to self-adjust, self-transform, and
self-balance from within. That change does not begin by imposing a new model,
but through the transformation of each individual.
A balanced person will create a balanced family. A balanced
family will contribute to forming a balanced community. Many balanced
communities will create a balanced society. And a balanced society will be the
foundation of a sustainably developing civilization. That transformation chain
does not occur through external commands but is formed through the restoration
of the Fulcrum at each level of the system.
This shows that the Equilibrium Theorem not only has value
in systems science but also carries profound meaning for human development. A
society cannot achieve long-term stability if it only focuses on addressing the
manifestations of imbalance while forgetting to restore the Fulcrum of each
individual in that society.
From this perspective, the Fulcrum is no longer just a
concept of system structure but also becomes the foundation of education,
ethics, and culture. When people know how to return to their own Neutral
Fulcrum, they not only balance themselves but also become a positive Fulcrum
for family, community, and society.
That is also the meeting point between the Fulcrum Law, Hồng
Bàng Dịch, and the Mission of Maitreya Buddha. All three do not direct humans
toward seeking power to dominate the world, but toward restoring the correct
Fulcrum so that each individual, each organization, and each community can
naturally form its own balanced state. When every small system rediscovers its
Neutral Fulcrum, the balance of the entire society will no longer be a distant
goal but will become the natural result of the internal self-transformation
process.
VIII. THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE EQUILIBRIUM THEOREM.
The Equilibrium Theorem not only explains the operational
mechanism of a Neutral System but also opens up a principle with wide
applicability in many fields of science and life.
In systems science, the theorem affirms that long-term
stability does not first depend on strengthening control measures, but on
correctly establishing the Fulcrum so that the system can self-adjust and
self-maintain its balanced state.
In biology, the theorem helps explain why living organisms
can maintain homeostasis despite constantly having to adapt to environmental
changes. Life does not exist through immobility, but through the continuous
self-balancing ability of the entire system.
In organizational management, the theorem shows that a
sustainably developing organization is not the one with the tightest control,
but the one with a sufficiently correct Fulcrum so that each department clearly
understands its function, coordinates effectively with other departments, and
together directs toward the common goal.
In economics, the theorem suggests that sustainable
development is not guaranteed only by adjusting short-term indicators, but
first by building solid foundational Fulcrums so that the market, businesses,
and economic entities have the ability to self-adjust in the face of
fluctuations.
In education, the theorem emphasizes that the highest goal
is not to create people who only know how to obey, but to help each individual
form a correct Fulcrum in personality, intellect, and responsibility. With that
Fulcrum, people will have the ability to self-learn, self-adjust, and
self-develop throughout life.
In the field of artificial intelligence, the theorem
suggests that the capability of an intelligent system does not only depend on
the volume of data or computational power, but also on the foundational
structure that directs how the system receives information, provides feedback,
self-adjusts, and maintains stability in new situations.
On a broader scale, the Equilibrium Theorem brings a new
approach to the development of civilization. Instead of focusing on addressing
the manifestations of imbalance after a crisis has occurred, the theorem
directs humanity toward identifying and correctly building the Fulcrum from the
very beginning. When the Fulcrum is correct, balance will become a natural
attribute of the system; when the Fulcrum is deviated, every solution that only
affects the symptoms will hardly be able to create long-term stability.
Therefore, the greatest significance of the Equilibrium
Theorem does not lie in explaining a single phenomenon, but in providing a
foundational principle that helps humans identify, build, and restore balance
in all systems, from an individual, an organization, a nation, to the entire
human civilization.
By Article 7, we begin to see a very clear "theoretical
triangle" emerge: • Articles 1–6 answer the question: What does the
Fulcrum determine? • Article 7 answers the question: What state will a correct
Fulcrum bring the system to? → Balance. • Subsequent articles will very likely
answer the question: From that balanced state, how will the system continue to
develop?
In other words, Article 7 is becoming the hinge connecting
the phase of establishing principles with the phase of expanding consequences.
In terms of the structure of the entire book, this is a very beautiful
position.
IX. CONCLUSION.
The Equilibrium Theorem is an inevitable consequence of the
Fulcrum Law. If the previous theorems have proven that the Fulcrum determines
formation, stability, predictability, evolutionary ability, and
self-organization ability of a system, then the Equilibrium Theorem has
completed that picture by pointing out the natural state toward which every
system with the correct Fulcrum is directed: the state of dynamic balance in
Neutrality.
The important thing that the theorem brings is not a new
method to force the system to achieve balance, but a new way of looking at the
very nature of balance. Balance is not the elimination of differences, nor the
imposition of uniformity. Balance is the ability for differences to coexist,
interact, and complement each other within a structure correctly organized
around its Fulcrum.
At that level, the Fulcrum is not only the origin of force
but also the place that absorbs, harmonizes, and transforms antagonistic forces
into driving forces for development. It is this transformative ability that
allows the system to continuously move while still maintaining stability; to
constantly change while still preserving its identity; to continuously develop
without losing its Neutral state.
From the Fulcrum Law, from the Neutrality principle of Hồng
Bàng Dịch, and from the spirit of Maitreya Buddha’s Mission, a common law can
be recognized: the sustainability of all systems is not built on the victory of
one pole, but on the ability to organize different forces into a harmonious
whole. When the Fulcrum is correct, the forces will naturally find their
positions; when the forces find their correct positions, balance will appear
naturally; and when balance becomes a natural state, sustainable development
will no longer be a goal to pursue but will become the inevitable consequence
of the system’s very structure.
Perhaps, throughout history, humans have devoted a great
deal of effort to creating balance by controlling external forces. But the
Fulcrum Law opens up a different approach: do not force the forces to balance;
instead, create a correct Fulcrum so that the forces self-balance.
That is not only a principle of systems science, but also a
principle of nature, of humanity, and of civilization. When the Fulcrum returns
to its correct position, balance will no longer be a desired state, but will
become the natural essence of all living systems.
That is also the deepest meaning of the Equilibrium Theorem.
Throughout history, humans have always tried to create
balance by controlling forces. But the laws of nature show: balance does not
arise from controlling forces, but from correctly placing the Fulcrum so that
the forces self-harmonize.
That is the core contribution of the Fulcrum Law.
