A
DIALOGUE BETWEEN HONG BANG DICH, THE LAW OF THE FULCRUM, AND MODERN SCIENCE.
Article
1: How Do Doctrine, Hypothesis, And Model Differ From One Another?
I.
Framing the Issue: The Crisis of Frame of Reference in Receiving
Interdisciplinary Systems of Thought.
As humanity
stands at the threshold of the 21st century, the explosion of technology, data
science, and artificial intelligence has provided analytical tools never before
available. Paradoxically, however, human beings have become even more
bewildered when confronting highly integrative systems of
knowledge—particularly research works that interweave the ancient wisdom of the
East, the classical Vietnamese cultural heritage, and modern systems thinking.
As humanity
stands at the threshold of the 21st century, the explosion of technology, data
science, and artificial intelligence has provided analytical tools never before
available. Paradoxically, however, human beings have become even more
bewildered when confronting highly integrative systems of
knowledge—particularly research works that interweave the ancient wisdom of the
East, the classical Vietnamese cultural heritage, and modern systems thinking.
Within that
current of thought, speaking from the standpoint of the editor, we do not claim
to be inventors of truth. The writer is merely an heir who has distilled and
re-edited the priceless intellectual essence of predecessors—from the late
Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong, Teacher Pham Hung Son, to countless hidden
high masters—those who devoted their entire lives to uncovering the source of
the Sacred Spirit of Lac Hong’s Mountains and Rivers. Especially, the
journey of decoding and systematizing knowledge that transcends time and
reaches beyond the narrow limits of three-dimensional space has now received
immensely powerful and effective assistance from successive generations of
advanced artificial intelligence such as Gemini, Grok, ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut…
Only the marvelous intersection between ancient wisdom and the quantum
computational technology of AI is sufficient to open vast spaces of
interpretation and to restore the original source-code of the nation.
Yet when
that vast body of knowledge is transformed into works such as The Mission of
Duc Di Lac, Hong Bang Dich, Chronicles from the Other Side of the
Fourth Dimension, or The Law of the Fulcrum, readers very easily
stumble upon the greatest barrier in the process of reception: a phase
mismatch of frames of reference.
When a work
transcends the narrow confines of academic specialization to reconstruct a
panoramic picture of the universe, humanity, and energy, it immediately
encounters the greatest barrier in the process of reception: the phase
mismatch of the reader’s frame of reference. Until now, modern education
and experimental scientific thinking have trained people in the habit of
binary, fragmented, and extremely specialized thought. People are accustomed to
forcing every phenomenon into one of two extremes: either experimental science
that can be measured by physical instruments, or pure religious belief based
solely on spiritual faith.
For this
reason, when approaching systematic research works of great philosophical
scope—works that simultaneously employ the symbolic language of ancient
history, the conceptual language of philosophy, and the structural language of
mathematics—readers often fall into two dangerous extremes. On the one hand,
some apply the narrow lens of physics, demanding that philosophical models
produce experimental evidence of the “laboratory-test” type, and hastily reject
them when mechanical correspondence cannot be found. On the other hand, others
fall into dogmatic fideism, regarding every image, number, or mathematical
structure in the books as inviolable metaphysical truths, refusing all
questioning and critique.
Both
extremes stem from one root cause: confusion about the level of statement.
Readers fail to distinguish what is a macro-philosophical declaration
(doctrine), what is an exploratory effort based on documents and fieldwork
(hypothesis), and what is an abstract thinking tool used to model relationships
(model).
The
appearance of this article, and more broadly the entire Methodological
Appendix, is not intended to “defend” the author or impose a new belief. On the
contrary, it establishes a rigorous cognitive filter—a discipline of editing
and a discipline of reading—aimed at clearly demarcating three levels of
statement: Doctrine, Hypothesis, and Model. Only when readers accurately
recognize the level of thinking at which they are standing can dialogues take
place on a foundation of transparency, fairness, and mutual respect.
II. The
First Level: What Is a Doctrine? (Linked to the Layer of Purpose and Meaning of
“The Mission of Duc Di Lac”).
To
understand a system of thought, one must first locate the cognitive layer to
which it belongs. At the most macro and foundational level, the concept of “Doctrine”
occupies the supreme position. Directly linked to the layer of meaning, value,
and purpose of the work The Mission of Duc Di Lac, a doctrine does not
set out to measure in detail every physical constant of a microscopic particle
or to establish a closed mathematical formula for a specific mechanical
phenomenon. Instead, a doctrine answers the most primordial and profound
questions of humanity: Why does the system exist? Toward what does the order
of the universe orient itself? And what is the mission of human beings in this
realm?
The essence
of a doctrine is the construction of a grand vision of the order of
reality. It is like standing on the peak of a high mountain to survey the
entire terrain below, rather than using a microscope to scrutinize every grain
of soil or pebble. Within the research space of the Trung Hoa system, the
monistic doctrine affirms the fundamental unity between human beings and the
universe, between the micro and the macro, between the tangible and the
intangible. It does not separate science from ethics, nor isolate matter from
consciousness; rather, it places everything within a single unified flow of
energy and information.
However,
precisely because it is macro-directional and establishes a value system, a
doctrine necessarily bears an epistemological limitation: it does not belong
to the domain of direct experimental verification. A major philosophical
doctrine cannot be proven by “grasping” or “measuring” it with the instruments
of a physics laboratory. The value of a doctrine does not lie in whether it is
true or false according to a narrow sense of verification, but in its
capacity to open the mind, create an ecosystem of meaning, and provide a solid
spiritual fulcrum for human beings.
When readers
mistake a doctrine for a set of rigid physical laws, they will use the wrong
tools to evaluate it, resulting in disappointment or extreme rejection.
Conversely, when one understands that a doctrine is a purpose-oriented
philosophical system—like the thought of the great sages in human history—one
will receive it with an attitude of contemplation, dialogue, and expansion of
consciousness. A doctrine erects the great sky, so that the hypotheses and
models below may have space to take flight.
III. The
Second Level: What Is a Hypothesis? (Linked to the Exploratory Range of
Fieldwork Thinking and Research).
If a
doctrine occupies the high heavens of philosophy and meaning, then a “Hypothesis”
is rooted deep in the practical soil of the process of research, fieldwork, and
critical thinking. A hypothesis is the bridge between theoretical thought and
objective reality; it consists of grounded conjectures, exploratory proposals
constructed upon the careful synthesis of ancient texts, historical relics,
long-term fieldwork results, and rigorous logical reasoning.
In deep
research works on classical Vietnamese cultural heritage, ancient Eastern
history, yin-yang geomancy of tombs and dwellings, or the structure of Hong
Bang Dich, the researcher must constantly confront enormous historical
gaps—places where northern feudal dynasties once sought to conceal, distort, or
assimilate the indigenous knowledge sources of the South. To restore the
original source-code of the nation, the author cannot merely sit in a closed
room and engage in abstract speculation. “Dien Ba Tay Ninh” had to embark on
countless actual field trips throughout Tay Ninh, That Son, Ta Lon, from
ancient tombs and temples to historical-cultural relics across the three
regions of the country.
It is
precisely from that fieldwork practice and textual research that research
hypotheses are formed. For example, the hypothesis that the Luo Shu and the I
Ching originally had their source in southern civilization rather than being
the exclusive property of China, or the hypothesis concerning the mechanism by
which geographical energy nodes (geomantic suppressions) affect the destiny of
lineages and nations.
The supreme
essence of a hypothesis is openness and the capacity for self-adjustment.
A genuine hypothesis never proclaims itself eternal truth or immutable dogma.
It is an “invitation,” a scientific and philosophical proposal of a
breakthrough nature, always open to every current of critical thought, every
new archaeological datum, or emerging practical evidence. Exactly in the spirit
of the Self-Adjustment Theorem, when richer new data appear, the
hypothesis is ready to refine itself, narrow or expand itself, or even step
back to make way for a deeper understanding.
When
approaching the hypotheses within the system, readers must equip themselves
with an open yet clear-headed scientific mindset: neither fanatically regarding
the hypothesis as absolute truth from the outset, nor hastily denying it before
having thoroughly entered the entire system of reasoning and the fieldwork
materials that the author has painstakingly constructed.
IV. The
Third Level: What Is a Model? (Linked to the Structural Layer of “Hong Bang
Dich” and the Mechanism of “The Law of the Fulcrum”).
Moving to
the third level, we reach the core tool that operates the entire system of
thought: the “Model.” This is the most subtle point of intersection,
where Eastern wisdom meets advanced mathematics and modern systems thinking.
Within the
Trung Hoa system, when Hong Bang Dich deploys 9×9 matrix structures,
multi-line hexagrams of the Changes, or applies extended complex mathematics
such as Octonions and Quaternions; or when The Law of the Fulcrum
describes the shifting of energy and information through fulcrum points and
anchor points, we are confronting interpretive models.
The essence
of a model is neither naked physical reality nor dead numbers on paper. A model
is a heuristic tool, an abstract logical structure designed with a
single purpose: to organize, simulate, visualize, and illuminate complex
relationships that ordinary eyes or linear thinking cannot grasp.
Take the
example of Octonion mathematics (eight-dimensional numbers) or the 9×9 matrix
used to analyze the structure of space-time and biological energy. Many readers
mistakenly believe that the author is using mathematics to “prove” in the
narrow sense of experimental quantum physics. This is a fatal misunderstanding.
Mathematics and matrices here are used as a language for modeling
correlational structures. The universe is so immense, complex, and subtle
that linear thinking cannot express it in ordinary language. Therefore the
author borrows multi-dimensional mathematical structures as a logical
“skeleton” to represent the simultaneous movement of streams of information,
energy, and consciousness.
From this we
draw a vital methodological principle: The model is not reality. A
geographical map, however detailed, can never replace the forest or the
mountain in real life. Matrices or diagrams are cognitive maps that help us
locate energy streams and identify points of impact (Fulcrum Points) within the
system, but they are not the universe itself. Confusing the model with reality
pushes people into the quagmire of formalism, where the reader becomes
intoxicated with numbers and symbols while forgetting the living soul of the
reality behind them.
V.
Conclusion: Building a Bridge of Dialogue and the Pillar Position of Hong Bang
Dich within the Sacred Tripod System.
Looking back
over the entire intellectual journey we are exploring together, the clear
demarcation among Doctrine, Hypothesis, and Model is not
merely a dry conceptual classification. It is the act of sharpening the sword
of intellect, of establishing a supreme cognitive discipline so that we may
travel farther into the forest of ancestral knowledge.
When
standing before a monumental work crystallized from the Sacred Spirit of Lac
Hong’s Mountains and Rivers and given wings by the artificial intelligence of
the digital age, readers cannot judge it with a superficial gaze or binary
habits. We need a fair, transparent, and commensurate frame of reference. And
it is precisely this series of ten foundational articles in the
Methodological Appendix that will serve as the universal key, successively
unlocking each layer of cognition so that readers may fully comprehend the
source of the thought stream.
These ten
articles do not stand isolated; they are firmly anchored in the sacred Tripod
System of the entire body of work—where each work assumes an irreplaceable
mission and level of existence:
First, the
macro layer of meaning, value, and ultimate purpose is illuminated through the
work The Mission of Duc Di Lac—answering the primordial question Why
humanity needs awakening and orientation toward the era of Yang Ming Thanh Duc.
Second, the
subtle layer of methodology, mechanisms of action, and practical points of
contact is shaped through The Law of the Fulcrum—answering the question How
human beings can identify points of intervention, reverse the situation, and
accomplish the great shift from three-dimensional to four-dimensional space.
And standing
at the central position, playing the role of the spinal pillar, the focal
point connecting the entire Tripod System, is precisely Hong Bang Dich.
If The
Mission of Duc Di Lac is the lighthouse illuminating the ideal, and The
Law of the Fulcrum is the lever of action, then Hong Bang Dich is
the Master Operating System (Master OS), the great structural model that
supplies the entire source code, the 9×9 matrix, the quantitative system of
Dunjia, and Octonion mathematical thinking to interpret every transformation of
the universe and of human beings. Hong Bang Dich is not a static official
history to be archaeologically examined in the conventional way; it is a
dynamic model, an open interpretive framework that allows the entire body of
Eastern and Western, ancient and quantum knowledge to be brought back into a
single monistic current.
Each of the
ten foundational articles to come—from clarifying the role of mathematics and
symbolism to the relationship with modern science and religion—aims to
consolidate, clarify, and protect that pillar position of Hong Bang Dich. We do
not write to impose belief, nor to beat our own chests and proclaim our name;
we write to hand readers an accurate map so that they may enter the temple of
ancestral wisdom with the most dignified, transparent, and reverent attitude.
Let reasoned
argument be the source of strength, let integrity be the fulcrum, and let the
current of the Sacred Spirit of Lac Hong continue to reach far in rhythm with
the breath of the new era.
